Summary This proposal aims to upgrade the CONX Mainnet to v1.14.0, introducing Dynamic Deflation, enhanced transaction fee policies, improved EVM–Cosmos interoperability, and optimizations to network stability and performance. The upgrade also includes improvements to account and asset management, smart contract compatibility, reward distribution, and EVM infrastructure. Upgrade Information Network: CONX Mainnet Target Version: v1.14.0 Upgrade Height: TBD Release:https://github.com/xpladev/xpla/releases/tag/v1.14.0 Key Changes 1. Dynamic Deflation Implementation Implement the Dynamic Deflation mechanism approved through Governance Proposal #124. Accumulate a portion of transaction fees for periodic token burning and Community Pool distribution according to the Dynamic Deflation mechanism. Introduce additional APIs to query deflation-related data. 2. Enhanced Transaction Fee Policy Update the minimum gas price and initial EVM Base Fee. Strengthen transaction fee validation for Cosmos transactions. Apply the following parameter changes: base_fee: 280000000000axpla → 10000000000000axpla min_gas_price: 280000000000axpla → 10000000000000axpla 3. Improved EVM–Cosmos Interoperability Enable Bank, Wasm, Auth, and ICS20 Precompiles. Improve state synchronization, rollback handling, and gas processing between EVM and Cosmos modules. 4. Account and Asset Management Improvements Separate Wasm and EVM account handling. Enhance xERC20 transfer reliability and balance query mechanisms. 5. Smart Contract Compatibility Updates Update the Wasm codeId ABI type to uint64. Introduce the IWasm.balance() function. 6. Reward Distribution and Validator Management Adjust reward distribution parameters: fee_pool_rate = 1 community_pool_rate = 0 reserve_rate = 0 Improve pagination and validation logic for reward and validator-related queries. 7. EVM Dependency and RPC Improvements Upgrade the EVM dependency to v0.6.3-xpla.2. Improve RPC query handling and transaction tracing functionality. Expected Benefits This upgrade aims to strengthen the CONX ecosystem by introducing sustainable tokenomics, enhancing transaction fee consistency, improving cross-module interoperability, and increasing the reliability of smart contract execution and network operations. Conclusion We propose upgrading the CONX Mainnet to v1.14.0 to implement the changes outlined above. This upgrade represents an important step toward improving the long-term sustainability, stability, and functionality of the CONX network.
